Yavarhoussen grant - INHA
To build the future, it's best to know your history...
Four years ago, the Yavarhoussen Fund joined forces with the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (Inha) in Paris to set up a grant to encourage a young art historian to undertake research into the history of Madagascar's art.
Each year, a jury of Madagascan and French professionals selects the winner, who will be supervised during his or her research by the Inha team.
In this way, the Yavarhoussen Fund is helping to write the country's artistic and cultural history.
Composition of the Jury :
- - Ms Juliette Trey, Chief Curator of Heritage, Deputy Director of the Department of Studies and Research (DER) - INHA.
