Thanks to a partnership agreement with the Musée de la photographie de Madagascar, the Yavarhoussen Collection regularly shares its acquisitions of photographic prints documenting life in Madagascar over the last two centuries.
Once digitized and inventoried by the Museum's teams, these images join its rich iconographic database and can be used as part of their programming.
For example, the current exhibition "Maison des vivants" contains several images from the Yavarhoussen Collection. This exhibition pays tribute to the unique and rich history of Malagasy architecture in all its diversity, and brings together over 200 images.
