The Yavarhoussen Fund made this exhibition possible, with the aim of promoting a new generation of photographers from Madagascar who document their country from the inside.

Conceived by photographer Rijasolo (winner of World Press Photo 2022) and Marie Lelièvre (photo editor and curator), this exhibition brought the work of six Madagascan photographers to international attention and critical acclaim, with some fifty black and white and color photos in various formats covering a range of themes. 

Rijasolo, Henitsoa Rafalia, Miora Rajaonary, Viviane Rakotoarivony, Iako Randrianarivelo and Christian Sanna were able to show their work at the Rencontres internationales de la photographie d'Arles.
