When it was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur and collector Hasnaine Yavarhoussen, the Yavarhoussen Fund was dedicated to stimulating Madagascar's vibrant contemporary art scene. Since then, the Fund has continued to expand its areas of intervention, notably by deploying a large number of actions in favor of greater knowledge and influence of Madagascar's cultural and artistic heritage.

The Yavarhoussen Fund rapidly crosses borders and disciplines beyond the visual arts, favoring partnerships with other institutions and local and international players in order to share and disseminate Malagasy art and culture wherever possible.
