The new land

from january 6, 2024 to april 20, 2024

at Hakanto Contemporary - Alhambra Gallery

This exhibition explores the notion of Earth, the color of which, red, is found on the Malagasy flag.
A proposal put together with the complicity of five committed artists.

Straddling the border between nature and culture, this exploration of the Earth weaves its way through a delicate and confusing labyrinth.

Richianny Ratovo transports us into a world of illusion, where her paint scratches glass and her attitude taunts moods.

Joey Aresoa takes us down memory lane from her native land to her new imaginary geographies. With her voice, she transports us into the musicality of the emotion of her memories.

Jo Aina, an artist who inflames us with the beating rhythm of his productions, decides to set up his home in the Hakanto contemporary space to share with us his most intimate vision of patriotism.

For the first time, Amir.J presents us with a brand-new installation in which dark, but always cheerful, black is sketched out as a glimmer of ecological hope. Charred wood reveals light green, and his hand traces lines of life on the walls.

Clipse Teean's proposal invites us to capture the elusive wind that blows across the land of all our emotions. Trompe-l'œil or illusion?
