The book, both a catalog of the exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo and a monograph devoted to Malala Andrialavidrazana's "Figures" series, documents a wide selection of the works in this series, while revealing the creative process behind each of her images. This iconographic corpus is accompanied by texts by François Piron, Yves Chatap, Missla Libsekal, Olivier Zeitoun, and an interview by the artist with Dominique Malaquais (1964-2021), historian and critic of contemporary African art.
